Great works well

Nice to have this adapter so can use an HDMI cable and connect to a TV screen when traveling and not having to haul around a second monitor when setting up a work station.

Beat Amazon prices and shipping speed - what else can I say?

This was the piece I was missing to complete my at-home office for the duration of our stay-at-home orders. I had ordered the same item from Amazon weeks earlier and Monoprice sent it faster and at a lower price. It works amazingly, I can finally use both monitors and I am working more efficiently. Great purchase! Will shop here again!

Misconception on my part

I got fooled thinking the monitor will supply power to the adapter. In reality Dell Monitor and indeed the specification for DisplayPort itself does not support power and HDMI does not supply it. So this was not a good purchase , but the error is all my own

I have a monitor that doesn’t support display port connection. This little adaptor does the trick and it’s cheaper than buying an entire DP to HDMI cable.

It's a very simple item with exactly one function: plugging a device with HDMI out into a monitor with only DisplayPort in.
It does that. Can't say much about it except: it does what the description says it does.

Got lucky and discovered these were Active HDMI to DP adapters, which made life better for me when converting my HDMI KVM outs to DP in on my monitors.
