The machine is light and easy to use, corded and has two attachments. I had no problem assembling it and operating. It dug up my lawn pretty good, and I collected a shockingly huge amount of grass and moss from a small patch of grass. I saved myself several hundred dollars but buying it and doing it myself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Great Dethatcher - But Be Prepared to Rake a Lot

This tool does an amazing job at dethatching. On the downside, as other reviewers have said, the unit does a poor job of bagging the thatch. Unlike a lawnmower that actively blows the clippings into the collection bag, the dethatcher passively throws the thatch at the bag, where it fills up - then clogs - the front of the bag. Like other users, I wound up using the unit without the bag, and just raked up the thatch afterward (and there was a LOT of thatch.)

Light, effective, simple to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reviewing this product I tested both functions… the dethatcher head and the scarifier head. First off this tool is extremely light and small which makes it very easy to use and store when not in use. I de-thatched my entire lawn, trying with the bag attached and found it filled way too fast. After using it without the bag it was much more efficient and I was able to get the job done much faster! It pulled all the thatch out of my lawn and it’s growing so much better now! I plan to use the scarafier when I want to rough up the soil and plant grass seed in the future. I’m very happy with the product and will recommend it to any of my friends looking for something like this!

Durability, not heavy, good machine

Great corded dethatcher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first ever mower. It is a corded dethatcher with a bag, so I don't need to worry about a low battery. It works great and is very effective. The cord is long enough so I can go around my garden. I love it and highly recommend it!

If you want a nice looking lawn, you need this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn’t even know we needed this for our lawn. Our yard is looking better and better thanks to this product. It was quick and easy to put together. Can’t say much about durability since we haven’t had it for too long. I wish it was battery powered versus corded.
