I live the large cooking space, but I'm disappointed that i can't get a sear, a crust on my meat even though you have upper and lower heating coils.

Ok. So we took everything out and it looked very nice. No digital thermometer, but it turns I I only ordered the fryer, not the fryer and thermometer combo. A shame since it was the same price either way.
We got the app on a phone, and went through all the instructions, but there does not seem to be a link with the fryer, except that that the wifi light is on. My wife is blind, and uses her phone to do many things. We thought we could control the fryer with the app, but we cannot find anyway to do so. Right now the app is a glorified recipe list with an AI feature. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Innovative cooking machine. French toast was my first use and it came out perfect. Four Texas sized toast (still had plenty of room). When it finished, flipped them and hit “toast” minus one minute - perfect. Fried chicken super easy and came out juicy and crispy. My first pizza tasted good, but the crust was a too crunchy. I’ll modify my next pizza until I get it just right. I also love the ap; easy to use and lets me know when it’s done. Haven’t tried the self cleaning feature yet. A bit pricey, but no regrets.
