I previously had a ninja foodi. Nothing compares to the Typhur Dome. It has way more space and cooks proteins evenly. It also makes the perfect toast, I barely use the oven or toaster anymore. This really does save time in my day from hours and hours of cooking, to a couple hours!

This product is great, I am seriously thinking about becoming a Cook. The Dome 2, literally tells me exact cooking time, temperature and recipe for preparing the food.
I invited my neighbors over for a free meal to convince my how great this Dome 2 works.

Top line - this is a great air fryer. There are a few annoying things which keep it from being a perfect air fryer.
First, the fryer is so quiet you often don't know what its doing. For example in pizza mode there is a preheat phase. So when the preheat phase is over and you put the pizza in - did it start? do I have to push play? Simple fix - when the fryer is waiting for interaction, make the play button blink. Just a general visual indication that you need to push something to make the fryer work.
Second - the power button is way too sensitive. I'll be cooking something and, say, some grease splattered onto the fryer. I take a cloth and wipe it off, only the power button is so sensitive that it shuts down my cook. Simple fix - make the user hold down the power button for like 2 seconds to shut the unit off.
Third - The fan gradient when you re-insert the tray is way too quick. An by that I mean the fan goes back to top speed way too quickly. Why is this a big deal? Because if you are cooking a chicken sandwich or a burger and god forbid you want to melt some cheese on top the fan kicks up to max almost immediately and it literally blows the cheese off the protein. Simple fix - have a "melt" mode or on certain cook modes make the fan spin up much more slowly so the heat starts to melt the cheese so it sticks better and doesnt blow off.
This all makes it sound like I don't like the thing which is totally not true.. Its an amazing kitchen gadget. It just has a few idiosyncrasies that I'm pretty sure can be fixed with a software update.

I my opinion this is the top of the line, the very best air fryer on the market. Bought my very first air fryer, the Typhur Dome 2 this past summer, relying on research and watching may videos, as none of my friends had one. I fell in love with it and use it for supper every day. I live by myself and it has worked out amazing for me; it has helped me eat better and now I eat out very rarely.
What I like about and appreciate are the dual heating elements, one top and one bottom, the self cleaning feature to burn the fat off the top heating element and dome, max temp of 450* (excluding self cleaning of 500*},the shape of it, the sturdy build as nothing is flimsy, how very very quiet it is really whisper quiet!
I live up north in the cold showy winters, luckily I have a second home in Florida to get away from the frigid weather. I rely on theTD2, that I had to buy another air fryer for here. I decided that I would try the Typhur Sync, so I got it but after using is short while I was really missing the great features of the TD2, so I ordered one for Florida, you can always use 2 air fryers. Bite the bullet, buy the best once and you won’t regret it. Typhur makes top quality product.

This is my fourth air fryer and I absolutely love it. It cooks the way I always had hoped an air fryer would cook. No more turning over chicken half way through the cook. It cooks evenly and thoroughly. It definitely cooks faster than any of my prior air fryers even using the same temperature settings. Chicken remains moist yet cooked all the way through. It may be pricey but is worth every penny for me. I also purchased the Sync which works great as well as the instant probe. These products are also superior to what I have used in the past. My search for the perfect air fryer is over!

I wanted this air fryer because it was advertised as large and quiet. Its way quieter than I was expecting. I have forgotten I was cooking something because the sound falls into the background quickly. The basket is huge, but the machine doesn't take up much counter space. I have been able to cut my cooking time in half because I don't have to meal prep my 12 chciken brest in 5 batches anymore; I can cook it in 2 now. This is the most used and loved appliances I have ever purchased. Even my boyfriend is using it now for reheating entire meals.

I had the original Typhur Dome for a month until the Typhur Dome 2 came out and I purchased the newer model. I can say we use this product daily and it's the BEST air fryer I ever had.
