It may be good for some people

I work in the floor covering industry. I liked what I read about this knife and bought it. It is a very good knife. However, for me, the blade will not stay locked in the knife. It slips out when I pull my knife up off the work. It can't take the down force that I apply. For someone with occasional light use it would be perfect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use these types of knives exclusively and at least 20 times per day for work. I appreciate that it's a fairly large knife as I have big hands, but it's way too big for me to carry clipped to the inside of my pocket. I appreciate the availability to carry spare blades, but I would love to see a slimmer, shorter version for EDC.

Love all my Coast products and the utility knife is just as good as the lights. I like that it keeps extra blades in the handle and the double lock is a nice safety feature. I work in maintenance and my Coast lights and knives never let me down.

Good product, but not what I really wanted

I picked this up to use at work and liked the blade storage and locking features. However it's quite thick in the handle, I was expecting it to be similar to other folding razor knifes. It's a little bulky to keep in a hip pocket, may have to keep in the side pockets on my carpenter pants. It's probably best suited for tool bet carry or in a belt pouch.
