Bought this for a good size room. Love the automatic setting. When I have a fire in the fireplace the ionizer status display increases and results in less smoky odors in the room. During taco night, with lots of frying and cooking going on in the adjacent kitchen, the color of the air quality indicator ring changed to orange and the fan increased speed for a brief period of time. We have less dust in the room now. Super quiet fan. May buy the small unit for the bedroom next.
