Nice phone, ugly color (imo)

I got it for my wife. Great phone. better than the A36 I bought because the side fingerprint scanner is so much more responsive and works on the first try. I think the Exynos 1380 is actually better than the Snapdragon 6 gen 3. I would have bought instead of the A36 but i HATE black phones. Boring. My wife is not thrilled with the color and is considering the A16 in silver, but I warned her about never using a phone with 4GB RAM. Come on Sammy, where is the mint international color?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Real step down from the a32
on June 28, 2025

Verified Purchase:Yes
This phone is a real step down from the a32. It burns through battery at a rapid rate. It is slower at charging. They removed the 3.5" jack, but have nothing in return. And now i hear Samsung is removing the memory card slot from newer models. Definitely time to find a new phone manufacturer that cares about their customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed. No 3.5mm jack on A26.

3.5mm headphone jack was perfect on the A25. Samsung eliminated the headphone jack in the A26. I was a early buyer of this model. Had to return it do to the lack of the 3.5mm jack. Then found a A25 online and bought that instead. The A25 is superior to the A26.

Hi Al Dips,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with your Galaxy A26 5G. Many devices are now using USB-C as the newer, more versatile universal connector compared to its predecessor. USB-C is faster and more efficient, featuring a simpler design that is less prone to damage. With this transition, the port's functionality has evolved to serve both charging and audio purposes. You can use wired headphones that are compatible with USB-C, or you can use an adapter to convert the USB-C port into a 3.5mm headphone jack if you prefer. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for being a Samsung customer.

Best phone ive ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a little different review. I live on a peninsula. I sunk my truck 8n the ocean. Water was coming into my truck. I saw my galaxy a26 5g floating in the water in the truck. Floating in ocean water to be exact. I grabbed it and got myself out of the truck to safety. Then used my galaxy a26 5g to call for help. Nothing wrong with the phone whatsoever. Thank you for making such an amazing phone. The truck was a loss but the phone saved my life.

Do not recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The galaxy A25 isn't anything that I was expecting and told it was. The phone just isn't up to par compared to other galaxy models. It's worth the extra money to by the upgraded S models.
