Purchased this shaver as an upgrade from Series 5 because of looks and good grip. Not fully satisfied because if you put pressure against skin for a closer shave, the blade will pop out. Wish the cartridge had a better secured lock. Poor design. This was never an issue with the 5 series design where you press the sides to release the cartridge.

Poor quality

I bought this shaver to replace a Braun 7526 that won't charge anymore. The 7526 was a true gem, out performs the S-7 hands down, no comparison. So I am back using the 7526, but have to use the cord, no biggy. Tried another new head for the S-7, but no luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shaver head only lasted 1 month!

After only 1 month I cannot even use the shaver head any more. It hurts terribly as it feels like it is pulling whiskers out instead of cutting them. I've cleaned it twice but it still isn't even usable. I expected more than 1 month use from such an expensive product. Very disappointed.

Close shave works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been on the market for a good razor the past year. Finally found this one and let me tell you it's great! It's a super close shave, easy to use with minimal noise.
I do dry shaving and it's worked great. Super easy to clean as well. I'm very happy with this and see me sticking with this one for quite sometime.

Essentially a noise maker

I've had my Series 7 for just over a year now. I've just purchased my second head for it last month. I've used the bath and cleaning station regularly and followed the instructions. Now the problems. I have very fine hair on my neck that it refuses to cut. I also can not get it to cut my mustache anywhere close enough to my nose. Lastly the overall shave isn't very close, I find myself going over my face with my blade razor to clean up spots missed by the Braun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best ever used

I just used my series7 for the first time, it out shaves everything I have used in my 68 years. I thought the series 3 gave a smooth shave this series 7 beats any electric razor I have ever used hands down. The series 7 is fast very smooth, it even shaves my head smoother and closer than the 3 ever did. Great razor the others that have rated this any thing less than a 5 just can't be satisfied no matter what.

Better than expected!!! Smooth Shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a bunch of electrical razors in the past and this is by far my favorite. I have used Panasonic, Wahl, Phillips, etc. This razor blows them out the water. It feels so smooth and haven't gotten razor burn one bit. The flex head seems to contour around my face well also. I give this razor 2 thumbs up and 5 stars. If your looking for a great face razor this one is a great choice. Promise you wont be disappointed! Also would be a great gift to someone as well :)

Did not work well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this worked poorly with my facial hair. It left many patches of hair and just didn't work how I would want my razor to with my skin. It might work well for others but it really was not what I would have wanted.
