Solid performance in a well designed razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After not using an electric razor for a couple of years, I was excited to give the Braun Shaver 7 series a try. After charging for a while (the charging and power indicators are easy to see), I used it on about two days worth of stubble. The shaver was very comfortable to hold and feels well made. The pivoting action of the head unit makes it easy to adapt to contours. At first I was tilting/rotating my hand too much as I was used to a fixed electric head in the past, but once I used more sweeping motions the razor was very comfortable and did a good job of cutting. After several uses the battery indicator didn't move, so I don't know what the true battery life is, but suspect it is good and I will have no qualms about throwing this in a weekend bag without the charger. Overall, there was no pinching or pulling after uses and it is a quick shave on the go.

Quality shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Braun shaver in the past but for the last year or so I was using disposable razors. I could get a close shave otherwise. I always thought my angular jaw made it so difficult to taper my short beard and occasional mustache. I really like this shaver because it's gentle and powerful enough without needing to constantly go over the same spots. That's my biggest pet peeve. Realizing you missed a spot. It also handles around my mole easily. Any man that shaves on the regular would love this.

I'm Impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some 20+ years ago I used a rotary electric razor and hated the experience. It always ripped my stubble and and it hurt! I have been using regular razors since and never looked back...until now. Using this new Braun Shaver 7020s Solo Silver over a few weeks has changed the way I shave for the better. It's less messy, and even though I have sensitive skin, it does the job very well without irritation. I only have to shave every 2-3 days as my beard grows a bit slower, and it doesn't bother me to have some stubble growth, so I had gotten to the point to where I only used a trimmer to 'shave' so I didn't have to use a blade and shaving cream. Now I can use this without having to worry about cuts and razor burn.
The shaver feels nice in the hand, and is easy to hold on to without slipping. It does a good job of staying in contact with the skin on mostly all angles with the 360 degree adaptive system. So far, with a few weeks of shaving, I still haven't had to recharge it yet. Great battery life!
The only cons I have here are the cleaning. It's a bit tedious, and this doesn't come with the cleaning unit. I do appreciate the hard travel case as I do travel frequently.

First Experience with an Electric

I give this 4/5 stars. It does everything it says it will, it's relatively precise, easy to use, doesn't make a mess, I've used it six or seven times, now without having to recharge.
I'd have given it 5 stars if I felt it could fully replace a wet shave. At this point I'm not ready to say it is better than that but it certainly is more convenient. Overall I would recommend this!

Great product, impressive performance

It's a real life upgrade from stone age razors. I would have liked longer toothed clipper heads for trimming. The one included worked so well!
