Does it what it says and does it well. At first I was not getting 1gb speeds but upon testing I found that my ethernet cable was not properly connected to a switch I had set up.

Does what it should - provides Gigabit wired network connection, and some old-school USB ports to a USB-C Mac. I use it as a mini-dock with the networking cable, a USB dongle for a wireless keyboard/mouse, and a USB webcam.

Limited functionality if you need more USBC ports. Tried to return and get what really worked but since it was not faulty I was required to pay for shipping. Wasn't worth it so kept it and ordered the correct one for my 2019 MacBook Pro 16

It finally arrived and I hooked it up and it works perfectly for me.
I am happy I ordered two of them for when I travel.

Great way to add more USB ports and ethernet to Surface Pro's as they only have one USB port and although they have wireless, there is no direct wired ethernet connection

I wish there were an option with a longer cord for easier use with desktop computers.

I have two of these ports for two different computers and they are essential. The first one had been working flawlessly for six months before I bought the second one.
