Great way to add more USB ports and ethernet to Surface Pro's

Great way to add more USB ports and ethernet to Surface Pro's as they only have one USB port and although they have wireless, there is no direct wired ethernet connection

Just what I needed

This is really really great. With the number of Zoom calls happening in a day, I really needed an ethernet connection to my computer. After three weeks, the connection is always secure and it stays that way even while simultaneously using the other USB plugins for a Bluetooth mouse and hard drive.

intermittent USB ports

Bought this with multiple other USB-C adapters in 2017 & it's the only one that never really worked. None of the 3 USB ports can maintain a connection to a printer or even consistently charge a phone. Never got the ethernet to work with my MacBook Pro either.

Seems to work well. We load it to the gills for our daughter's music performance zoom sessions -- ethernet cable, microphone, video camera, and external speakers (in front of the mic, of course). Has made distance learning a functional possibility! Got a second one for our son. Thanks, Monoprice!

Works for the most part

I'm currently using it to attach a USB mouse and wireless keyboard to a 2016 MacBook Pro. It mostly works. However, almost every time I wake up the computer the computer I need to unplug-and-replug one or both (it's not sufficient to plug/unplug from the laptop).
