Works well but not everywhere

This power strip works well as long as you do not have isolated power. It does not work at all on isolated power such as found in the operating room and cardiovascular lab. Also, the covers are too difficult to open so they get left open all the time.

This product was actually recommended by the Fire Marshall of our State. It has proven to be the perfect item for the areas used for patient care, meeting the specifications required for fire/patient protection. We have even had a few power outages and the protection for the medical equipment and computers has been invaluable. Every Medical complex. Hospital, and ASC should be using this item

This unit is the perfect unit to meet your State Fire Marshall guidelines for Hospital/ASC use. It is the only power strip accepted in my state. Easy to mount at the proper height. long power cord makes this unit accessible to spots needed. Clean looking unit.

The PS-415-HGULTRA is the only power strip authorized for use by our state Fire Marshal for use in hospitals, and specifically in operating rooms. The ground detector works as described, disconnecting power if ground is not detected. Will not work on isolated ground systems. We have over 100 of these in use.
