I have many notebooks for my music recipes and other items. These dividers make it easy to find what I am looking for. They are strong and last forever.
Lets see if I can hit the 400 character limit with this one just became the treasurer of a non-profit organization and like many we must stretch that dollar. Which we do anyone so I went into Staples knowing they have a huge selection of Office supplies and at reasonable prices. Depending on what you need and the quality you would require I needed some dividers and supplies. I found so many different types and styles that I was a little surprise at the time some where ridiculously high costs and some where really inexpensive and it showed. I needed something that would last and not be costing an arm and a leg. Found these for a great price and there were 4 sets of them I know they were not made in the U.S.A. because of the price. But I am very pleased with the price and the quality once again Staples came across and no I do not work for the store but wish I did.
This product is fine for every day use. If you need these dividers for a long-term project i.e. one that will get lots of handiing then this is not the type of dividers that you'll want. Plastic tabs are flimst and tear easily. Yet size and color of tabs is quite appealing to the eye. In my opinion these tabs are suited for student use and not necessarily for professional products. Price however is good and I would think qualiry-wise the Staples brand is likely as good as the name brand. I used these dividers for a semi-professional product and it served its purchase. I didn't think it warrarnted purchasing a more expesive product.
Granted it is nice to have larger tabs for easier viewing and writing however I think the product can be improved. Many people like myself use the clear plastic sleeves to keep important papers clean. And I also do this for papers that I use repeatedly as Master Copies. Thus when I place the sleeved pages into a binder it makes it difficult to see the tabs that are separating the different sections in the binder. My suggestion would be that you make the pages on which you place the tabs wider so that they may be see and not blocked by the sleeved pages.
The dividers are great and look great but they do not extend beyond the protective coverings which makes it impossible to see the tabs without flipping through the protective covering pages. I'm using these for a cook book so I cannot see the divisions that I've sett up.
