My purpose for purchasing this item was to easily preserve the papers that I had been gathering on reports of my ancestors such as census records photos and ancestry family trees. I chose to purchase these High Capacity Sheet Protectors for several reasons. Firstly I like the quality of the materials the strength and substantial quality of the sheets is higher than most I have purchased in the past. Secondly I had the choice of whether I wanted to have the protectors be top loading or right side loading. I feel the quality and design of this product is exceptional for the price of the item.
I have use Staples sheet protectors for years and years way back to when I was in university. They are my standard that I keep on hand at all times. They are heavy weight and do not tear. I use them to protect the pictures of my cake decorating works of art. Many people want to see my work for ideas and they get handled a lot so the protectors I have found to be the best option even over a photo book with those glossy pages. Finger prints always ruin the books and get dog-eared. The protectors can be wiped off easily. My loose recipes that I haven't had time to file get popped into these protectors that I label for future filing. If I want to take something to work and protect it the sheet protectors are the first thing I go looking for. Love 'em.
My youngest daughter is graduating from high school this year and she does scrapbooking so a lot of her stuff is protected and organized already. This will look very nice setting out for her open house. She also has several other awards from various activities and athletics she has been involved in over the years. She wanted to put these in 'sheet protectors' in a binder to display them at her open house. The sheet protectors will keep them protected and organized for several years. What a great idea she had! I am sure she will do well in her future career path in business.
I buy these all the time and I use them in my "Recipe Notebooks" to keep my recipes safe from water on the cupboard or "flying batter" when I am using my beaters. I also buy these to put together all my genealogical notebooks that I help family members with. I never seem to have enough. I can mount (using "picture corners" - not glue) and label precious old photographs on construction paper sometimes using both sides and slide them into these sheet protectors and know they are going to be safe as they are acid free PVC free and latex free. I highly recommend these for any project.
I use these to store service manuals for my husband's tools & our appliances and put them in a binder. You can even put a title on the clamp edge. Works really well; easy to find just what you need quickly They keep everything in order very neat and tidy.
