I made 2 binders for a co-workers 2 children. "SCHOOL DAYS" I printed on colored labels for each year & placed them on each sheet protector. All the information on the front & a pocket to place awards report cards and other special things from each year of school for each child. It was a Secret Santa Gift and the Co-Worker LOVED it so!!

Preserving my hard work

Since I teach Spanish to elementary students I need to make visuals of objects. After I print a picture and add a word of explanation I then put them on an 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and slip it in my page protector. The page then goes in a notebook so that I will be able to use them year after year. I feel that this saves me money in the long run because I do not have to remake these items over and over. I also am able to allow the students to handle them without being worried about dirt or fingerprints.

This protector allows larger documents to be staples and inserted into larger bound presentation style documents for ease of removal and review

Worth the extra cost.

The first time I got sheet protectors I purchased the cheapest ones. I frequently had difficulty pushing the sheet between the sheets of the flimsy sheet protectors. When I had to get more sheet protectors I purchased these much sturdier protectors. What a difference! The sheets were much easier to insert between the sheets of the protectors and the job of loading the protectors became much faster and pleasanter. True the sturdier sheets were more expensive but they were worth it. When I discussed this with a Staples salesman he reported that many customers agreed with me. Conclusion: The cheaper protectors are fine for small jobs. If you have to stuff five or more sheets at one time you will me much happier using the more expensive but sturdier protectors.
