We needed these for forms to hold a stock printout that would then be shoved into a clear bin along with the items. They are holding up great; I'm sure it's not what they were originally intended for but finding new ways to utilize products is what we are about.
I love the Staples High Capacity Sheet Protectors! Because they are just slightly larger than the regular protectors I can fit multiple pages in each one. As a music teacher and composer I often download print music for my students when they are wanting a specific song. Instead of giving them the original I give the student a copy and store the original (all of the pages) in a sheet protector for future use. This also allows me to alphabetize my prints into binders for easy access. As a composer the High Capacity protectors are large enough to hold instrumental parts along with the original composition in a single protector. How convenient!
I have been able to put the Staples High Capacity Sheet Protectors to great use! As a music teacher and composer I often download print music for my students when they are wanting to play a specific song. Instead of giving them the original I keep the original in a sheet protector and give the student a copy. That way should any other students be interested in that song I already have it on hand. Since I can fit all the pages into one protector I can easily alphabetize the songs in binders and pull out what I need. As a composer I do similarly. I can store the instrumental parts and the original arrangement all in one Protector. Very convenient!
I used these sheet protectors to cover the pages of a recipe book that I scrapbooked for a Christmas present. . I attached some of the embellishments and such with rubber cement and everywhere that the cement was used the protectors bubbled up and are now warped. The pages do not lay flat now and of course do not look as clean and sharp as they should. So if you plan to use rubber cement to cover a report do not use these protectors. The package also says heavy duty. These are definitely not heavy duty.
These are very handy for me to separate and store various documents and keep them from being damaged. Heavy duty tokeep from wear and tear. Will probably buy more of these and my needs arise.
These are the top load type. They're a fairly thick plastic so likely to be durable. They seem like a good value (compared to national brands). The pre-punched 3-ring notebook holes are of a sufficiently large diameter to easily work with all notebooks (so won't bind when trying to flip pages). The visibility (through the plastic) is faintly foggy but easy enough to be able to read included documents through the front. I've bought Staples brand for these before & they've always worked just fine; I see no reason that these won't do the trick well for anyone.
