Lovely Stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the stapler for free following another order I made and was asked to submit a review. Out of the box, I loved the design and color. My right hand is weak but this stapler allowed for soft pressure to do the job. Unfortunately, I was able to jam a staple. During the process of removing the jamed staple, I opened the stapler as if I would be adding a new strip of staples. After I removed the jam, I pressed the stapler to put it back into workable position. The head of the stapler would not go back into place. Trying not to force it, I opened the stapler again. At that point the wire that holds the tension on the rack of staples broke and fell out. :-(. I hope this can be fixed/redesigned as I like the looks and easy function of this stapler.
Pros: small effortless to use does a great job.
Cons: the tension spring inside the stapler broke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a great design!

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LX840 outshines the stapler that has been on my desk for years. It is much easier to use and requires little effort. The old stapler wouldn't work if wasn't flat on the desk. The LX840 works at any angle. It is smaller than the old one as well. Consider the LX840, especially if you have limited space or want to keep a tidy desk. The built-in staple remover is a plus. I've had the stapler for several months and held off on a review until I could test it and use it.
Pros: compact, easy to use

A very useful device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fellowes LX860 is a very useful device. It easily staples thirty to forty pages of standard printer paper. It works best when sitting on a flat surface -- it is stable and does not move around under use. Its compact size does not take up more desk space than necessary. I anticipate it will provide years of satisfactory use. I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
Pros: excellent for stationary use on a flat surface
Cons: the design makes it a bit large for hand held use.

Great compact stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher, I use a stapler several times a week to prepare activities for my students. My favorite feature is that it is jam free. My old stapler would jam often and that led to wasted time and trying to fix it each time I used it. It is also so compact that I can just throw it in my school bag. I like that it has a microban antimicrobial treatment especially since I am using it in my classroom. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
