Best high volume stapler on the marke!

I work in a high volume insurance office where stapling documents is a constant and this stapler gets the job done! Service on one of our staplers was stellar as one broke and Swingline customer service sent a replacement for free!

Over all it is excellent. Very easy to use and handles sixty plus sheets easily without straining but works well on two sheets also. Exactly what I was looking for!

It is an awful stapler. At most, it will staple together a 30-35 page document -nowhere close to the touted 70 pages.
Cons: At most, this will staple a 30-35 page document., Insufficient Capacity, Jam Prone, Weak Staple power

Optima 70 desk stapler - replacement

I was having a problem with my Optima 70 desk stapler and wrote a review. I was contacted by Swingline almost immediately and they send me a new stapler and it works great. I have to complement their terrific customer service. Thanks Swingline!

My immediate response was it's a lot larger stapler than I expected, has a huge desktop footprint: 2 1/4" X 9 1/2", and is tall: 6"... I believe the dimensional information should be readily available. So far all I've done is given it a small test, stapled the cardboard box it came in four times, perfect performance! The stroke is a bit long but otherwise I am very satisfied... I actually purchesed this stapler primarily for compacting recyclable packaging so it takes less volume in the trash bin... stapling is faster and less laborious than using packaging tape... stapling is also a great stress reliever, especially with this monster! Replaced my ancient Rexel Matador.

The Swinglinea_ Optimaa_ 70 Desk Stapler has been a life send. It is very simple to load and works with very little effort. I have people coming to my desk just to use this stapler and everyone always comments on the ease of use.
