i was impressed on how cheap this unit was but was more so with the 'power' and ability to clasp a number of sheets with ease very impressive and highly recommended

Great Stapler

This is a great stapler. Almost effortless stapling with a compound lever using One Touch chisle point staples. Sure beats my 15 year old stapler which i retired.

Stapler broke before 1st Staple
on April 2, 2014

I was excited to get this stapler to replace an old one that jammed frequently. Unfortunately it broke before I had stapled anything - 2 chrome pieces came out the rear end and it wouldn't staple. I returned it and received an upgraded version of the same model. It has been working perfectly. It has more metal and less plastic and seems more substantial. I appreciate that the store manager gave me an upgrade. Thanks Staples.

I don't like it. It doesn't seem to work very well with the staples or something. For everyone that goes 3 or 4 jam. (: Totally unhappy and stuck with it.

Works with start-up challenge
on March 22, 2014

I bought this stapler to replace one that died after too many years to count! Admittedly I just grabbed one that was reasonably priced. Didn't quite understand why the hi-rise lever was added to the top of an ordinary stapler design but thought there must be some advantage. First thing that needed to be done was load staples (which were not included!). There are no directions or valuable hints to be found. There was a red tape around the front edge of the compartment that holds the staples but couldn't figure out how to get to it. Finally I tried an on-line search. I found directions on how to open it which to me were not intuitive. Loaded the staples and it has been smooth sailing ever since. Just a slip of paper with directions would have been perfect.

Excelent Stapler
on March 6, 2014

This stapler is very easy to use as it says in Staples advertising. I could do it with one finger. I Love that the staples go flat. I used this stapler at Saint Barnabas Medical Center on high volume stapling and stapled over 400 groups of paper and didn't get one misfire or jam. Don't let the fact that it is a house brand stop you from buying this excelent stapler.
