I've tried several brand staplers and I do like this one best. One of my Swingline staplers actually broke in two so this one is the replacement. Hope it lasts longer than my previous one did.

I bought this stapler for my college student. Chose it over others because it has a flat-bottom style so you staple while it's resting on a desk. Good feature! But it was difficult to figure out how to load it. There's a piece tape on the part that's supposed to jut out to fill it with staples. But no instructions on the tape so you know to remove it. The manufacturer should put a sticker on the device that says 'remove tape before loading staples'. Overall it's a decent sturdy stapler. But the classic flat-bottom style is easier to use. Not sure I'd buy it again.

It is way far better than my last one that was very easy to use ( until I let coworkers borrow it). This one touch is effortless. It can be used held in your hand or on a flat surface. The price is also great!!!

... this is a very strong sturdy stapler easy to use but it only fits 1/4" staples which isn't quite enough for the claim of stapling 30 sheets of paper. It goes through the paper without problem but the staples aren't long enough to fold over to hold the papers together. Wish I would have known that because I would have bought a different one.
