Finally I sent to Staples to buy an actual stapler. Got a 2 fer deal on it and love it so far. Requires premium staples but punches through paper so easily. The staples lie nice and flat on the underside.

Was not happy with how the staples would come out they would come out looking like you had tried to staple around a nail and the staple had conformed to the shape of the nail. I am not sure if this was just a faulty stapler or if they all do this but wasn't going to try another one to find out so in my opinion I would not purchase this product unless you like a "bubble" in your staple.
