Note even medium duty

I purchased this stapler due to it's claim to use standard staples and be able to stack pages or my coin and stamp holders flat. After removing from it's packaging I loaded the half strip of standard staples and tried it out and several folded sheets of paper. The ease of use was fantastic and it didn't need to use pliers to flatten the back. I then prepared a few of my coin holders for stapling. Things were going real good until the last staple was left in the stapler. It didn't feed but I didn't think much of it. I loaded another half strip and only 5 more staples fed and attached properly. I opened it and nothing looked wrong or out of position. It worked and then the next staple didn't feed leaving the mark of an attempt on my holder. I now have to open and close it between every staple to not have a missfeed. Will take back. Not recommended except for very light use.

Flat Stack Stapler Does the Job

The flat stack half strip stapler is meeting the needs that I have for a small and compact stapler. What I really like about it is that each and every staple is tight. That was what I was looking for and that is what the flat stack half strip stapler delivers. I haven't tested it to the maximum yet but from all indications to date it is going to meet my stapler expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone and everyone interested in a high performing compact and low-cost stapler.

I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and power of this little stapler. It's easy to grab when those unruly stacks of paper start acting up. One quick squeeze and those rascals are clipped together until I decide to let them loose again. Great little tool for paper management.

LOUSY STAPLER

This is a lousy stapler. I bought this stapler for work. It's small cute very easy to grip. When I first bought it worked great with its own staples but once I refilled it it stopped working. It works no more than 5 times in a row without jamming consistently tearing up papers. The backs of the staples get stuck in the bottom which is difficult to get out because stapler does not open 180 degrees. It's a fair stapler if you are stapling 1 or 2 things a day but NOT for multiple uses. Bottom line this stapler creates more work than it is useful. I love how it feels in my hand but I am very disappointed with its performance.

Jam Resistant?

So far all is well. However I am undecided whether or not it is OK. I have had too many jams with my Swinglines. They seem to last for 6-10 months and then jams begin. We'll see on this one. Ask me the same question in 6 months.

Best stapler I ever owned

I have used a lot of staplers in my lifetime and they always ended up jamming or could not handle a large volume of papers. This stapler is fantastic. I have been using it for years and have never had an issue.
