Gone Backwards in Function

I have this laptop briefcase for 8 months. The handle is flat and digs into my palm and fingers. The front compartment that holds pens, business card and other good compartments doesn't open wide enough to see what's inside. The top zipper for this compartment should have the length of the zipper go downs the sides for better viewing and access.
Bag does feel well built like my other Thule bags
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
