Was okay when it worked, died within 12 months

The earbuds portion of the charging worked okay, but it was sensitive. I couldn't just put the airpods onto the area, rather I had to shift it around until I saw the charging light come on. There were a few times where it did not charge because it wasn't positioned properly even though it was inside the deboss.
Now the iphone charging part. it worked fine, but it has been less than a year and now it doesn't work anymore. I've attached a photo. Notice it is on the device, but is not charging (yes, it's plugged in)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works just ok with IPhone 13 Max in a case, though magnets could be stronger for this size phone as if not correctly placed when mounting it will fall off. White round MagSafe base seemed like foam I should take off. A tilt feature would be nice. Tray for AirPods should be the size of the case (s) so you don’t have to check the light to make sure it is charging. charging. Pricey but better looking than no name competition.
