A quite powerful processor that scores around eleven million points a day doing Folding@Home FahCore work units. Runs cool enough, around 60C at 100% usage in an open case.
Makes about 4 times the GPU computing points as the RTX 2080 it replaced using considerably less power.
This 4070S scores nearly as high as models that cost hundreds more so it was the "sweet spot" for me.

Unclear on the adapter and psu instructions. Or the psu to gpu instructions. Adapter when plugged in was not providing enough power? Why is it provided if it doesn't work?
