Not what I expected nor wanted

Still won't connect and I'm frustrated as to how to fixit. Originally I was told it was compatible with my Motorola modem-router, but in reality is not. I'd use it as a second network in my home but then I have to buy a modem - because when I connect it to my modem-router via ethernet cable, functionality on the web gets weird. And my '21 M1 Mac won't connect to it wirelessly at all (probably due to the modem issue??)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
