Reliable UPS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very reliable UPS. The unit is heavy as it's 1500VA but the shape makes it very stable. There is a fan that turns on only if the unit is operation on batteries. Normally the unit is silent. The runtime on 85W is above 2h which is great.
Pros: Energy Efficient, Ease of Management, High Quality, High Confidence Level in 24/7 Uptime
Cons: Too Expensive

I’ve been using this UPS along with its network management card, and it has completely changed the game in terms of power protection and remote monitoring.
Setting up the UPS was a breeze, and the network management card seamlessly connected to my network. This allowed me to easily keep an eye on the UPS from anywhere, receiving notifications and accessing performance data for peace of mind.
With its 1500VA capacity, the SMT1500C delivers reliable power backup for all my valuable electronics. It keeps them safe from power issues like surges or fluctuations.
The UPS has a sleek tower design that fits well in any environment. The LCD display gives me quick access to important information like battery life and power conditions.
Having 8 outlets is fantastic as it lets me connect multiple devices, including my computer, monitor, router, and more. It’s really convenient.

Keeps my server and internet up during brown outs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a part of town that is older, and during out hot summer months we have occasional brown outs (Power drops enough to cause electrical items to shutoff/restart) and having this happen to your server at home is not conducive to a long life of the raid, cpu and other items. However, by installing the APC UPS, we've mitigated this by always supplying the server, our router and the switch with 120 VAC even during times when our power drops to 20VAC (our brown out voltages).
I cannot recommend installing a UPS enough to anyone who needs to ensure their server uptime is maximized.

Great Backup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being that I am a programmer and work from home, having a power backup for my computer is very important. While I do not have power outages often, I will occasionally get flickers, and when they do occur I can't work. So by using this, it gives me that extra time to continue working without disrupting whatever I was doing.
