This set is all plastic as expected for 11 pieces for $25. Pros: The sound is very good. Easy to assemble. Lightweight. Cons: The drumsticks are plastic and bent on the first try. Seat is small and too short for a 3 year old. Side drum falls off it's separate stand. Overall worth the cost for a few times of play.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy assemble. Not too loud of a set. Good size for a 3-5yo. And good starter set for a little one to learn coordination and basic strikes. Obviously, your child will outgrow it quickly, if he/she plays with it all the time, at which, in about a year or so, you will need to upgrade, if it’s something you want your child to really get good at.
