I shopped for awhile before I purchased this appliance. This gave me the best value for the price. So far I have had no issues with this refrigerator. It runs quiet, keeps accurate temps, and makes ice when needed. I think I made a good choice. The only complaint I have is the stainless steel exterior looks nice but shows fingerprints and is difficult to keep smudge free.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

A Big Disappointment

In addition to other reviews which include water compartment being small, ice cube bin size, no light at dispenser, the ice compartment has continuous condensation. At times it get so bad that the water drips down. I also see condensation near the interior light which I think is the result of the ice maker. Due to this condensation, the ice compartment door froze shut.
On rainy days, there is severe condensation on the outside of the refrig, mainly at the location of the ice maker and also at the freezer.
This has been a problem since we purchased it about a year ago.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG refrigerator 11 years ago and have been happy ever since until last week when it quit cooling. Not a bad run for a newer refrigerator but would like 20 or 30 years like the good all days.

Great price, great product. The LG products are wonderful. We upgraded our appliances to LG stainless and have not had any issues. This fridge is extremely roomy which allows for great organization. The water dispenser is perfect for the average 12-16 oz glass.

This is a great refrigerator. I have ss, which does leave fingerprints; all the features are useful. The filter is too expensive; I love the double freezer drawers. I separate by type and how often I open the drawer. A really good feature is the bell that tells me the door is ajar.

This refrigerator is the best that we have ever purchased. It's style and convenient features are excellent. No more bending over to see what's in the crisper drawers and the location of the ice maker on the door is a space saver and is an outstanding plus.

Some issues...

We have had the fridge for about 3 weeks now.
The ice maker door would not stay latched upon purchase. The technician could not see why it would not stay latched, so replaced the entire upper door.

Ice/Water Dispenser is somewhat small for larger glasses. Glasses put to the pad of the water/ice dispenser are best inserted diagaonally as much pressure needs to be applied if the drinking glass is inserted vertically. Seems the pressure pad could have been designed better.
But, it does seem to cool well and except for the ice door issue we had, it seems to be good value.
The freezer (Two bottom doors, a nice feature) seems to lack the total freezer space of our previous side by side fridge.
At this point, I am relatively OK with our purchase.
