Product works great!

I have had this dryer for more than a year now and it still works like the day i bought it. I have never had a problem, and my cloths are always dried and wrinkle free on the 1st cycle never have to re-dry..
I would recommend this to a friend!

One month after the warranty

One month after the "one year warranty" ran out, the heating element quit. Other than that I was pleased with the dryer. The last dryer I had was a GE and it lasted 15 years. I only bought this one because my old washer quit. Newer is not always better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our GE dryer is now almost 6 years old and has worked perfectly from day one. It is used at least 4+ times weekly. The only thing we've done on our own is clean out the semi-rigid duct hose and outside vent which is just proper maintenance. There has been no need for repair at any time. Cannot beat the value, features and performance for the price. And not one single need for a repair of any kind. Can't go wrong on this unit!

Good Dryer

We bought this dryer with the 3.6 cu. ft. washer about 7 years ago and have not had any trouble with either piece until now. Washer stopped working yesterday, going to to replace today. The dryer has been wonderful except it takes a lengthy amount of time to dry a whole load of laundry but recently a friend has told me about using wool dryer balls to help fluff and dry clothes in the dryer. Going to try this to see if it helps before we replace the dryer too. All in all it's been a dependable unit.
