Key Strike Echoes

I love the extended keyboard, I love the keys, I love the build quality. The problem I have is that I spend a significant amount of time correcting duplicated numbers.When I strike a key it will give me 2 of the number I pressed as if the key strike bounces, like on a drum. It will sometimes when duplicate a number after the next number (eg I press 8675309 and I get 868753099 where the 8 came again after the 6 and the 9 duplicated at the end).It was purchased to give me the 10 key for my smaller laptop in case I was using the laptop keyboard, however I like the feel of the keys and am hoping I can adapt. Perhaps I'm striking the keys too hard.

I like the product but I am disappointed that it seems to go to sleep when it is not being used and the first time that you need to use it, it takes a couple of key strokes for it to work with the key that you need. Also if you are trying to select text by using the shift key on the Mac keyboard you can’t select multiple characters with the arrow keys on the Satechi extended keypad.

Great with a laptop!

I need to drag a full size keyboard along most of the time when I’m out of town for my laptops. These enabled me to leave the full size keyboards at home saving space in my carryon. They work great and I highly recommend them.
