Disappointed

I use this product frequently and was really happy with it at first. But recently, the ceramic bowl cracked while cooking, this was after one of the locking devices became disconnected and dangles when not engaged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacing Lid

On the Crock-Pot website to replace the lid. Within six months of getting this pot which we wanted for the locking lid for traveling, one of the clips on the lid the rivet broke off. Did not know this until someone found the rivet in their food. :(
Hoping the new lid doesn't have this issue.

Makes everything dry

I've owned several crockpots and never had the issue of them drying stuff out. I bought this model because I liked the fact that it was programmable. Everything that I have ever cooked in it has always been very dried out. I am so disappointed in this crockpot.

I really liked this crockpot - when it worked. Have probably used it 8 or 10 times in year or so since purchase. Threw a pot of chili on only to find a few hours later, no heat. Product stopped working.

Stopped working after too few uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The electronic controls froze after only 10 uses. It will not provide over 30 minutes of heating. Temperature selection not available. A gift. I would not have bought a programmable one. Too much heat. I have a competitors manual model over 30 years old that works fine. The 30 second reset from the web site did not work.

Broke within a month of purchase

I purchased this crockpot less than a month ago. I used it only once before it failed to heat up. On my second attempt to use it (this morning), the pot would not heat up. I tried multiple settings, low and high, and even tried using different outlets in my home to no avail - it wouldn't warm up at all. I have a manual crockpot which I've used for more than 15 years. I upgraded because I needed bigger capacity. However, I'm learning that the digital/programmable crockpots are not built to last. In fact, I purchased this model recently to replace another digital/programmable crockpot that did not last beyond 7 months either due to the same issue - it no longer heats up. I love using the crockpot to make my family dinner, but I am beyond frustrated to keep spending money on products that do not last.

Burns Then Cracks

Very disappointing. Burned food which stuck to pot even on low setting. Crock insert began cracking after a few uses, and completely cracked through after less than 20 been unable to replace crock for quite awhile. Not what I expected after using a slow cooker for years.
