Really nice trimmer….works great,however,it may as well be a piece of junk because you can’t get replacement string or spools. If it wasn’t for the string being unavailable,I’d give it a five!

No refill String

I'm shopping for my first Cordless Mower and Trimmer and after reading reviews of trimmer with plastic blade wearing out quickly, I decided to view a string trimmer, only to find out Sun Joe doesn't stock any replacement strings :( Back to my search for a trimmer.

I'm giving this only one star simply because you can't get a replacement string. Judging by the reviews for the replacement spool it's never in stock.

Waste of money

Can't get replacement string, what a waste! I have had this trimmer since spring and I can no longer use it because Sun Joe is unable to stock string for their own trimmer.

good except for edge trimmer

I am having problem getting line long enough to trim from roller. Is roller supposed to be on cement or grass. line is correct length from auto feeder but can't reach grass. What am I doing wrong?

Good, but can't get replacement line

I like the trimmer, but cannot get any replacement line. It's not worth buying when you can't get more line. Additionally the replacement line offered is not the same as the line sent with the trimmer.

24V-ST14 Trimmer/Edger

This is a nice trimmer/edger. Two things that I don't like about is, 1) you have to manually put the line out when you need more cutting line and 2) it states you can get a replacement spool (24V-ST14 Spool). I've looked it up and can't find any replacement spool for this trimmer.
