Issue with the sound randomly switching to headset vs the speaker and no way to fix it

The picture quality is good, however, the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. The sound is often distorted and sometimes there is no sound at all. I've only had the tv for 10 days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
