It was inexpensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. There is a setting with random narration in the background for people who may not see the screen very well. But when you turn the voice off, it just comes on again. Kind of annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Roku TV is nice and works well, if you don't mind it turning off after about 4 hours. I bought the TV to use in living facility for person with Alzheimer's, doesn't know how to use remote control, to set on music station for continuous play. I am not there, nor do I want to ask a nurse to "touch" the remote before it turns off. I am gone days at a time, so this just doesn't work. I called service support and emailed them, but didn't get a response that would work on the TV. Very frustrating!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The colors on the screen are sharp and I am very satisfied with the sound. The only thing getting used to is not having channel numbers to select my channel.
