I enjoy how easy it is to use, and we have so many free options for entertainment. It's easy to add on our paid streaming services. The picture itself isn't the clearest sometimes. I also do not get very many channels (only 3, down from 16) on my HD antenna that I loved to watch on my old tv. If I had paid more for this television, I would have returned it because of the clarity issue. There are no good instructions on everything that you need to know for the remote and television. I had to look things up online. This will work for now in the bedroom, but I wouldn't choose this for a main living room television.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
