Clarity seems good, don't like the volume on the sides with buttons on the remotebecause that's pretty typically where you grip the remote, don't at all like the fact that it comes up with an error message "Playback Error" and stops your programming, even though you're not playing anything back--it's live tv. Then, when this error shows up, nothing can help and every program, every streaming service, comes up with that message. The only way to correct this is to turn off, unplug, wait a few minutes and plug it back in. In the meantime, you're missing some of the show. Very inconvenient. Liked the fact that the TV was very inexpensive--very affordable--so "get what you pay for."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
