My 21 y/o son is in PT for his knees and tried it for a few weeks. He couldn't tell if it did anything. I just acquired it to use on my knee, 14 weeks post knee replacement. It feels nice while on, but will need to use it for a period a time to tell if it has appreciable effects. In the photo, I applied it to the back of my knee for posterior pain.
