I am constantly getting a notification that I need to add water.
(Even when I don’t need to add water)
The machine will not continue until you satisfy the warning.
If I add pressure to the bottom of the water container, it tends to cancel the message. I think a switch is sticky or faulty but its been like this right out of the box.

Don’t waste your time

For some reason the max amount of water one can program for a cappuccino is 80ml. That is ridiculouse.
So a cuppiccino is 1/2 a cup. The Latte is 90 ml and a flat white is 140ml. Bad programming

Impressive bean-to-cup coffee machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm going to start off by saying, I had no expectations as I haven't used a Philips machine before. My previous machine was a La Pavoni which had broken after many years of use. The Philips LatteGo 4400 has exceeded anything I could have imagined possible for an automatic espresso machine. I will be using it daily going forward and recommend this machine to anyone!
Set up took about 20 minutes. Activating the water filter was something new, but easy to complete. There's individual profiles, blue, yellow, and guest to save customized settings. I have yet to designate a profile, but really like the option.
The Philips LatteGo 4400 makes a variety of hot and cold drinks. The majority of the drinks are excellent, including cold which gives specific instructions on how many ice cubes to add.
The espresso shots on their own are not over extracted or bitter. I would describe this machine like going to a specialty coffee shop with a no frills barista. I was somewhat surprised that two of the least enjoyable hot drinks were cafe creme and cafe au lait. This could have been my personal preference, but these two beverages seemed like the only ones that were under extracted or water down for my taste.
The grinder is super quiet. Great for use when you're waking up in the morning and don't want too much noise. It cleans the machine at random, and somewhat loudly. That could be simply because it happens at random, and I jump when it's quiet in the room, but I love that it is self-cleaning.
The frother handles milk alternatives, like oat and soy, with precision. It's easy to transport and clean the bottom compartment, and the frother. It will let you know when to empty the grind container. The individual parts that need to be cleaned hold up well when being washed and go back in place with ease. I also accidentally dropped the frother on the way to the sink and it didn't break.
Overall, this is a fantastic machine and I would recommend it to anyone!

It’s really good but you can only use beans
