Keeps losing battery charge

Nest will not keep a charge and the battery drains every few days. Infuriating.

Nest thermostats are designed to keep its battery charged by using the already connected heating and cooling wires of your HVAC system. In some cases, these wires may not deliver enough power and the thermostat would need a common(C) wire connection to supply power. If your Nest thermostat's battery stopped charging even with the common wire, then there may be an issue with it.
Nest thermostats come with a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty starting from the date of purchase. Bad wiring or needs upgrades

Would never recommend this product. I have to come sit with me take it off plug it in so it charges because for some reason it does not charge wired to the wall. Had to call an AC specialist end apparently it is an ongoing problem for this product. He tried rewiring and it still did not work. I think the product meets an upgrade

Nest thermostat

I connected it and even I tried heading it started cooling ............for cooling also ....it cooled ........heat never worked ..

Great Product!

This product exceeded my expectations. I've wanted one for awhile since seeing them installed at homes belonging to my friends and family. It's not only very easy to setup and use, but all the options and ways to manage your HVAC is such an improvement on traditional thermostats. The app allows you to interact with it from anywhere without having to get up and the smart learning is also a fantastic feature. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to allow for the customization of the color backgrounds. I know the colors offer insight into whether the thermostat is set to cold, hot, or off, but I think these are generally easy to tell and instead wish you could set your own color choices to match style and theme of the home.

Out with the old, In with the new!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Nest Thermostat! Every single feature of it. Took out my old one and followed the steps to install my new Google Nest Thermostat. You don't have to be genius to do it, if i can do it, so can you!
Super easy to get the hang of it especially after downloading the Nest app. which made controlling it a breeze. Technology is a great thing!

Difficult set up

It was not very easy to set up multiple errors. Had to Google whatbth issue was vs the app walking me through we figured it out, but woukd have been nice for troubleshooting steps to walk you though. Overall I do like the nest, still having difficult with the economy setting and dropping the heat to 56 need to figure that out next
