Love the remote controllability

Replaced my 21-year-old thermostat (although it still worked ). Luckily, we had the extra wire to use as the common "C-" wire on the furnace-end and to power the Nest, making the battery in the thermostat unnecessary (right?). Installation was easy - just followed the color coding of the wires, and connected the device to my home WiFi. Having the built-in spirit level to align the device horizontally is a nice touch.It's great to be able to set target temperatures per various schedules, specific to each day of the week, using the Google Home app. The app reports the current temperature and humidity in the house.This model does not have "learning" features, nor can it use additional temperature sensors, but is a great step up from my older thermostat. Will it last 21 years? Let's see. :)

Convenient Thermo!

It's very easy to install yourself by following instructions. Setting it up along with the app is simple enough anyone can do it. This thermostat is very convenient especially when your not around it you can change it with the app. Also has settings you can program and the temp will stay according to you set it as. Even when you're away from the house. It's energy efficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Second set of Google Nest Thermostats

I recently moved from a townhouse to a single-family home. Feeling blessed. We had the Nest Thermostats (gen 3) and loved them. And of course, we had to install the Google Nest Thermostats at the new house. This time around, we installed the latest version. It works great and is now managed from the Google Home App. The reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is that I don't like the side touch bar to adjust the temperature and settings. Luckily, I mainly control the temperature on my phone. I preferred the older turn wheel method, which is more user-friendly. I guess it was a cost-saving measure.

As a smart thermostat by Google, it’s pretty much exactly what you would expect. It’s extremely good looking, but attracts fingerprints like flys to honey.
