This is sooo much faster than the pro-click. It does more than 3 times the # of sheets at once, can bind from 2 sheets up to 300, and is slick to use. Speeds up the whole process.

Thank you for taking the time to contribute your review on your new Pulsar binding machine! We are glad that our machine seems to have met your needs so well. Thank you for choosing Fellowes!
The Fellowes Pulsar +300 is a great machine. Perfect machine for little projects. Makes your projects look professional. The only reason this product did not get 5 stars for every rating category is because the machine is a bit bulky. There is a storage tray for binding spines (combs) but only holds a very few and is a bit of wasted space. This machine could be more compact in it's design which would have been a full 5 stars across the board.
This was so easy to begin using right out of the box. Barely had to read directions! I'm generally impatient when it comes to learning and using new office support machines, but this one took just a few minutes to figure out. It does everything it is supposed to do. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars to punch capacity is because I found I had to use fewer sheets than recommended to get a perfect result. Sometimes the sheets of paper don't want to fit snugly down into the punch slot on the left hand side. I wasted several sheets of paper till I found out I had to be VERY careful about making sure they were all the way down. Otherwise, EXCELLENT all the way across-the-board.
I prepare and bind several reports a month. I've used other types of home/office comb binders. They all seem to have one common problem: It's hard to keep all of the sheets aligned for punching. The vertical alignment design of the Pulsar 300 is a big plus. Also, the comb opener has a separate handle which makes insertion of additional sheets much easier. I definitely recommend the Pulsar 300 to anyone interested in purchasing a comb binder.
While very pleasing to look at this machine is way over designed and as a result way over priced for what it does. There are design features which are good looking but do nothing for the use of the machine. There should be a means of loading the plastic fingers which did not require practice. There should be a feeder system to feed the paper on to the fingers causing an automatic alignment of the paper to the fingers.
We got tired of spending $60++ on printing/binding proposals and presentations at our local print shop. Now with our new Pulsar Comb Binding Machine, we are able to save money AND create professional looking proposals and presentations. As an added bonus, it is very easy to use and not bulky looking. It even binds up to 300 sheets at a time and can punch up to 18 sheets in one pull. I highly recommend the Pulsar + 300 Comb Binding Machine for all your binding needs.
