Selection screen slow to show up

I plug-in the machine when I’m ready to use it and unplug after each use. When I plug it in to use, the selection screen doesn’t up right away.

It's a good Air fryer!

This is a replacement for instant vortex plus air fryer and it already cooks faster. I am going to miss the rotisserie but I only used it once and never again because of the mess. This is smaller doesn't take up half of my countertop and easy to clean.
