It is beautiful and it is stainless steel. It's not all plastic. I have not had the opportunity to use it yet. Because I am waiting for a friend of mine from church, to send me some recipes. I will definitely notify you within the next couple of weeks when I get to use it. It appears to be very sturdy though because of the stainless steel. You have not used all the plastics.People use these days , which is no good for your insides. Ty Rev njs

I have not used it yet just pulled out of the box . But I chose this over the Ninja if that helps any .It was only about 100 watts less then the ninja and about half the price.
