Great sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After testing with some Dolby Digital movies it's another thing. Loud and clear, sufficient sound volume at 40%. Unlike "virtual surround" from the TV, Dolby Digital surround actually works.

Sound is not stable looks like the surround goes on and off briefly. I had an LG sound bar before and never had and issues with it. The sound is not the same connected with the optical cable. Just seems to sound from a tin can. I didn’t expect any big performance from that one, but the reviews were good and I expected it to be better than this. Maybe there is a technical or electronic problem or malfunction

Is it normal that the sound is different with the HDMI cable and the optical cable. I used the HDMI cable first and the sound was not stable like if the surround was shutting on and off. Then, I plugged it with the optical cable and the sound is very different and sounds like from a can, a kind of « echo »…

Perfect, but...

If it had Dolby Atmos technology, I'm 100% sure it would be the best surround sound on the market. I don't like the detail that it's virtual 5.1, it should have been real 5.1. After that everything is perfect, I'm sure that in the future I will buy the Poseidon D60 that does have Dolby Atmos.

I love Ultimea tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, about 6 months ago, I wanted to purchase a 5.1 system for my main tv room. I looked at quite a lot. Admittedly I was on a tight budget, but when I canme across this 5.1 D50, and I have to say, I was genuinely surprised. I wasn't expecting much , given the budget price, but wow! The sound is excellent. It's so much more immersive than typical TV speakers. The rear sound and sub are wireless, so you can place them pretty much anywhere. Mine are sitting behind my sofa. The room is approx 30m2, and the D50 fills the room with ease, never having to go above 20 on the volume, as it gets loud. Even when pushed at higher volume levels, the system is crystal clear with no distortion. I love this unit. I've also recently purchased a Nova S40 2.1. Ill leave a review for that too. Another splendid device.

Good device that does the trick without breaking the bank

Impressed by the speed and efficiency of delivery. They used GLS. The package was well packed.
Opening the box is a whole other experience, everything is well assembled. Easy to mount and connect each and every speaker with the subwoofer and then the soundbar.
The subwoofer volume is a bit high and you need to add batteries in the remote control to adjust its volume to 0 instead of +1.
I choose the EQ 3 for mostly music and impressed by the audio and build quality of the product. Now that I think, maybe should have bought the D60 Poseidon instead of the D50.
