The light goes up gradually so that you don't get a blast of light like a camera flash that you find in a traditional fridge.

I love the ice box inside! I didn't have to wait for the ice to despense, the ice stays separate. There's still lots of space in the freezer.

I appreciate the alarm sound when a door doesn't close. It also keeps the kids away when they are playing it's door.

One thing I would say is, I like that the exterior is resistant to scruffs. Love the way the lights go on gradually as well.
