Bought the unit to go between my radio link internet modem and my router. A storm blew the input to my last router. New router case is plastic and there wea no place to connect the ground wire so I connected it to the power line ground. Hope it works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you're like me and own a laptop (an expensive one at that) which contains your important information/work data -- and you prefer a wired internet connection where ever possible -- then this light, portable internet suppressor is absolutely essential to ensure the complete electrical protection your computer (when coupled with a portable surge suppressor for your powered connection).
