I had a hard time finding a power strip that would handle a true 20 Amp load - this one does. My electrical load would trip a typical 15 Amp power strip and this one solved the problem. Note: it does need a 20Amp plug (one prong turned sideways). Good purchase, very happy with it.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Reliable

We can plug all our electronic test equipment / devices into this power strip and not blow a breaker. 20amp strip, great idea. Then the cord (15') actually reaches the wall. No more piggy backing cheap strips together. Congratulations TRIPP-LITE for listening to the needs of the consumer. We actually bought 20 of them and are determining how many more to get.

I'll never buy another one of those cheap 16 gauge wire power strips again this strip is 12 gauge 20 amps which provides plenty of power for all my needs, it never trips.
