Great little product. I bought it to protect my gas tankless water heater because the PC board fried. Bought another one to protect my other sensitive equipment. I like that I can take this outlet and plug it in just about anywhere.

I purchased the Tripp Lite surge protector to protect the controller board in a washer. It is built very sturdy in an metal housing. I like the line fault and protection present LED. I have used Tripp Lite before and remain pleased in the quality of their products.

Recently bought all new kitchen appliances. 2 days later my power went out for maybe 10 seconds. The electric company said some power station was reset miles from my home. The electroncs on my new stove was not working anymore. The GE rapairman said a power surge fried the control. He asked me why didn't i have a surge suppressor on my stove line. After the oven was repjaced before I plugged in the gas over I installed a Tripp Lite unit that had a 1400 joule rating I also bought 2 additional one for my flat screen tv and one for my new LG frig.
