Two meters in one

As a defense contractor working on Navy ships I use the 1587 FC Insulation Multimeter daily. We are required to perform insulation resistance checks using 500 volts as well as continuity checks. This meter can accomplish both. No need to carry two meters around. The remote probe and ability to record data on my phone is a real time saver and ensures accuracy. The display has large digits that are easy to read in dark locations. The meter can be used with the FLUKE SV225 Stray Voltage Eliminator to prevent false reading from ghost voltage. Very versatile meter.

One of hte Best Multi Meters Yet

I've been using this Meter for almost 2yrs now, from just checking voltage all the way to checking insulation in motors. I would recommend this meter to any Industrial Electrician.
Pros: everything

Everything on this meter is simple and easy to use. Big and bright display. I'm an automotive technican and I use this meter for everything. Fluke meters by far in my opinion are the best.
Pros: easy to read display, multipule testing features

i have a fluke 16 multimeter and have been using for over 11 years now, i think they are the best on the market. this one has never failed and that in itself is a selling point to me.as far as i'm concerned fluke brands are all i buy. thank you for a great product.

Great tool

I bought this meter 1 year ago. I use it to test chiller motors and supply fan motors. It is a great tool for maintenance and troubleshooting. I have great confidence in this meter and the information that it tells me. This meter exceeded my expectation and will be a valued tool in my tool bag for many years to come.

Very Robust

We have been using 5 of these offshore over the past few years. They have held up great to offshore abuse. We calibrate them annually, but they have never required any adjustments. I will continue to use the newer model (FC) as our group continues to grow.
