I bought this to protect my acoustic guitar amplifier. I have my 60 watt amp and a reverb and tone enhancer pedal hooked up to the unit. I was primarily just looking to protect the sensitive electronics of my equipment, though I noticed a fairly significant difference of the sound of my amplifier. It sounds warmer and definitely is more quiet. I noticed this when I turned up the gain on my reverb pedal and heard no hum as I had before. I am very happy with this product !
Pros: Durable and Reliable, Lightweight, Long Cord, Simple, Universal
I bought 6 unit, 3 of them made a horrible humming/vibrating noise. After receiving no help from tech. Support I opened the units to find out that the transformer screws were loosely affixed and the PCB is not wide enough. So after tightening the screws and adding electrical tape to the PCB the noise was gone which points to poor quality
I bought this unit to protect my computer. I live in an area that has many power surges and we loose power on occaision. I wanted something that I knew would protect my computer.
We would buy this again with full confidence. Our home wiring is ok, but just ok. Meaning, when my wife is using her hair dryer, and my daughter turns on the microwave, there lights in my office dim. So with this power conditioner, my computer and monitor and printer are protected from that power drain. All my equipment works just the way it should, all good.
We got this Unit to help protect some PLC units due to bad power feed to out Plant. Standard US 120AC Plug for the input and 6 Outlet plugs on the Back of the Unit. One Power Switch just above the Outlets. Simple to install and Use. I pick these units due to pass experiences Using the Tripp-Lite ISOBAR-6 Surge Protectors, Hope the Same workmen ship is in these Power Conditioner units. Cannot give Higher than a 4 star yet due to the fact we have only had then for a Few weeks so far. Once we have a new big storm than I could bump it up to 5 Stars.
I bought this unit for my new HP Laser Printer. Lasers don't really play well with the typical UPS because of the heating circuitry. This unit handles over and over power spikes and brown outs. Small size so you can put it just about anywhere along with four receptacles. Also cleans up "dirty power" situations. The best.
