I really don't love to spackle dozens of punctures on walls!!! Really. Command hooks save me having to do that. Save time too since they go up quickly & come off walls so easily. No damage to walls at all.
I am redecorating a few rooms in our home and needed to hang a few pictures. I always dreaded this job as they never seem to be at the right height or centered where I want it. With the Command Strips I was able to get them perfect, on the first try. No holes in the wall, or many pencil marks. Just a great product.
Very disappointed with this product. I had bought the smaller command strips at first since the picture I was hanging was barley a pound and ended up falling a few days later scuffing my walls. I attempted a second time with the same size strips this time using double to about of hooks and making sure all my walls were wiped clean, I had thought maybe that was the reason why it hadn't worked, but it had fallen again. I had then purchased these bigger strips supposed to hold 16lbs and with in a week that same picture had fallen again. The end result I should have just put a little nail whole in the wall, my wall is now all scuffed and my picture frame is all scratched up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used command strips for many pictures in my home. The weight of the pictures varies from light canvas squares to heavy wood. All are hanging safely, and I have a heavy collage frame that I occasionally take down to change the pictures. I simply separate the two strips carefully, change the pictures and snap back on. Remember, you must follow the directions on the package. Clean the wall, and the surface of the picture where you will place the stickers, with alcohol, let it dry thoroughly, attach the strips to picture, measure and attach strips to wall, and let the strips on the wall sit and adhere for an hour before hanging the picture. This method is foolproof. The only time a picture fell was when I did not clean the wall with alcohol first. Hope this helps those that are struggling. Be patient and follow the steps.
I bought this for Christmas after we remodeled our home so I wouldn't damage the walls. When pulling the tab down to move one of the stockings it took a chunk out of the texture of the drywall. I am so frustrated and scared to remove the others.

We're sorry to see this and we'll be sending you a direct e-mail to assist. This review was left for the large picture hanging strips but it appears from your pictures that you used the small utensil/wire hooks. For any customer who experiences damage please call our team at 1.800.934.7355 M-F 8am-5pm CT. For removal stretching the strips straight down slowly will prevent damage to the wall surface.
